After Kakadu the Stuart Highway is long, and arrow straight. A slight corner is considered an event. The scenery is much greener at this time of year than expected. The red center has a green covering of rough brush grass.
Not a lot happened. I wont give more details about being swamped out of my tent (along with everyone else) when the deluge of pre-monsoon rain overran the camp site. It got wet, but it wasn’t as exciting as the sandstorm.
Oh, and I broke my tent. The email rant to Terra Nova is worth a blog on it’s own. 2 Words. $hit Zips. I’m now sharing with a mate until I get to a big city.
